Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between V-Softs (Emmanuel Daunizeau) and customers subscribing to the V-Shield service, a WordPress security solution provided as SaaS (Software as a Service).

2. Subscription plans

V-Shield offers several subscription plans (Essential, Pro, Business), with features and pricing detailed on v-shield.net. The subscription grants access to the V-Shield WordPress plugin and related features according to the selected plan.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in EUR, tax included. Payment is made by credit card or PayPal through Stripe. The subscription is billed annually in advance. On renewal, the customer is automatically charged on the subscription anniversary date.

4. Term and cancellation

The subscription term is one year and is automatically renewable. The customer may cancel at any time from their customer area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already paid period. No partial refund is granted for cancellation during an active subscription period.

A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to new subscriptions. If a refund request is made within this period, the customer is fully refunded.

5. Liability

V-Softs undertakes to provide a quality service and maintain reasonable service availability. However, V-Softs' liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer under the subscription over the previous twelve months. Under no circumstances shall V-Softs be liable for indirect damages (data loss, loss of revenue, etc.).

6. Data protection

Personal data collected in connection with the subscription is processed in compliance with GDPR. Customers have rights of access, rectification, deletion, and portability. See our privacy policy.

7. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution. Failing that, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
